Rebel’s On The Tube

On of the funniest sub-plots in Bridesmaids was Annie’s roommates, brother and sister Brynn & Gil… “We’d like to invite you to move out.” Great. Rebel Wilson, who played Brynn, had one of the funniest parts with the tattoo and the peas. Thinking about it still makes me laugh. I mean, as a whole, the movie was funny, but there were definitely side-characters who really kicked some ass. I personally believe that a movie with more random, funny characters is much better. Shout out to Kali Hawk who also made a lasting impression, as always!
Rebel is actually now getting her own show… well, pilot and it’s produced by Conan O’Brien! Not too shabby for a girl who spilled peas on her back for a laugh. The show is Super Fun Night and follows 3 friends every Friday night as they try to have the most fun. Obviously, the girls are all like Rebel and a little on the dorky side which makes for a funny situation in general.
My only ploy is… cast Kali Hawk! Two girls from Bridesmaids, dorking it up on TV? I’m in! And, everyone loves New Girl, she’s a dork… add two more, solid show.
