I “Block”ed It.

You know, I can honestly say that there hasn’t been a movie this Summer that I haven’t enjoyed. And, by reading my blog you can see clearly that I hate a lot. I’m a hater, for sure.
Last year, I named my favorite Summer movie to be Piranha 3D, and I stand by that. That movie was a God Damn Blast and yeah, those are capital letters.. WHAT! Well, my favorite Summer films list is compiling as we speak (It’s only July), but there is a dark horse in the running.
Last night, I got to hit up Downtown LA, which I never check out, and we saw a screening of Attack the Block, which I told you about here. Holy shit was this movie dope. I need a capital D on that too, because my socks have been rocked. It’s Aliens meets Warriors, but more comedy and it was the shit. We were cracking up, and I may have jumped a few times here or there. But, I won’t tell you why.
We get the big action movies and “Summer Blockbusters” that are out there to kick our asses, but there’s always the Summer’s Superbad that people fall in love with. Dare I say it, this movie might just be that for 2011? Well, if you’re smart, you’ll get out there and make the decision for yourself. Which you should, this Friday when it comes out.
Also, the music is really dope, like a dubstep/electronica clash that’s sure to impress.
