Both Suck, Apparently

Two new movies vying for the #1 spot at the box office, That’s My Boy & Rock of Ages and apparently both suck. That’s My Boy actually looks pretty enjoyable, not because of Adam Sandler, but because of Andy Samberg, who I highly enjoy. Too bad he hasn’t really carried a movie I’ve enjoyed (Hot Rod wasn’t my favorite) he has such potential and he just cracks me up on SNL, especially the Lonely Island songs. But damn, this makes me sad that it’s getting terrible reviews and has only generated a 22% rating on Rotten Tomatoes (eesh)!
Also, Rock of Ages is not getting the best response. Which kinda of doesn’t bother me, but based on the fact that it’s all 80′s songs kind of makes me think I might not hate it. Admit it, you love 80′s songs, they make you feel happy. I mean, everyone was so freaking happy in the 80′s, it was like the strangest thing. No one had a bad day at all. And those colors! The blinding of the human eye, I can understand why all of us in our mid-20′s were conceived then, everyone was in love and they had the music (and hair) to prove it.
