RIP – Leslie Nielsen

The man, the myth, the legend has taken another journey in heaven. Leslie Nielsen has passed away from complications of pneumonia, he was 84. The comedic great gave us the Naked Gun films and Airplane, and truly from those he will live on. Leslie had been in the hospital for the past two weeks, trying to fight it, but lost the battle today around 5:30 eastern time. He will definitely be missed, and I’m in the mood now to watch Dracula: Dead & Loving It. This Canadian comedian surely had a sense of humor that cannot be duplicated, the quirky looks, the awkward smiles and the pure ambition to not be embarrassed by yourself were all attributes that made this man one of the greats. Rest in Peace, Leslie and thank you for all the great moments we’ll be laughing at for years.
